Topic:   Sustainable strategies of organisations to deal with economic falls during covid-19 :

The pandemic covid-19 has created  a drastic economic fall that was never witnessed in the last 100 years. No one could imagine a situation like this in both the economic and health level of mankind. No one was prepared for this unimaginable fall of economy  and that's why  it was that difficult to cope up with this situation.  Economy is facing such a setback as

  •  People are staying at home and using only the basic needs  which has caused huge loss to the organisations providing products or services other than only basics for survival. If we take an example, the tourist spots and businesses depending on them and organisations connected with the entertainment industry and recreation such as museums, entertainment parks are facing a huge loss, who earns a huge amount otherwise .

  • Huge reduction of transport due to covid-19 pandemic is causing  a huge loss to  companies and agencies depending on them.

  •  People are losing their jobs as the companies are unable to make profits in this pandemic situation.  which is  making people more conscious of spending money. They are spending money only on the basic needs and not on the luxury and investments. Which is reverselly affecting the other companies profit, making it a loop of loss for companies.

  • Panic and restrictions of the pandemic is also creating loss of business as people are not doing programmes or meetings or social gatherings which gives huge business to both large and small organisations.

  • Exports and imports are blocked due to this pandemic which is affecting the organisations a lot whose business depends largely on exports and imports. And it is also affecting the supply of products, tools and materials and the sale from import is facing a huge set back.

Lot more causes are there behind the economic fall of organisations due to this pandemic. But there must be some sustainable strategies of organisations to deal with the fall of the economy due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Those can be

  1. Stay Updated about the demand:

Things are changing so as the demands of the customers. So an organisation has to stay updated about the changing demands of their customers and try to arrange the products or the services according to the customer's demand.

  1.  Flexible :

An organisation has to be flexible  in this changing situation and has to change as needed.

  1. Change is the only constant :

Change is the only constant so an organisation has to change its products or services or the way how they serve it according to the COVID 19 situation. As an example an Organisation can arrange the social distancing , sanitization etc the key requirements of COVID 19 to make it safe for customers. or they can offer the products or services as required by the customers according to the situation.

  1. Online :

This pandemic has given a push to online everything from online delivery to online payments and also online works. So an organisation has to make scopes for online works , online payments etc as a part of their work and services. Looking at the future they have to make sure that their work and services must be accessible from anywhere and always ready to combat any situation. Technology has to be updated and online work has to be a new normal to walk along the changing world. They must keep online services as good as offline services so that they can switch to another anytime as required.

  1. Self dependent :

Due to closing of import and export it has become a problem to get the products and sell the products overseas. So looking at the future and learning from the ashes of the pandemic the organisations must ensure self dependency about where they buy their raw materials from and sell the products to. Besides having overseas supply they must ensure local supplies as well so that nothing can stop their productivity.

  1. Trust of your customers :

People are in panic and scared in this pandemic situation. So an organisation has to build trust with their customers so that they feel comfortable to buy from the organisation or use their services. They have to create the image that they are safe and worthy spending money on in this difficult situation. They can do it by taking safety measures and delivering quality and worthy products and services for their customers. As an example, those restaurants are selling more in this situation who are offering customers ' no touch' delivery, sanitation and cleanliness and building customer's trust by saying that they care for the customer's health etc.

A difficult situation is not always a bad thing . Sometimes it gives the opportunity to rebuild and gives a new direction and may be a better direction. You never know may be the new measures taken for the difficult situation may lead an organisation to the next level. New world creates new opportunities. Keep updating, keep changing according to the world's needs. An organisation has always something to offer, may be in the new way. Economy will get better with the new sales and services offered with the changing needs and online support. Change is the only constant.
